HOW IT WORKS

The paddle raise (also called a reverse auction or fund-a-need) is the most effective way to raise funds at a seated event. After making a call to action from the stage, the auctioneer will ask guests to raise their paddles to make pledges at specific levels. As the auctioneer thanks each donor, our technician records their pledge and their name is displayed onscreen along with a real-time total. 

Check-In

Guests are invited to optionally check in to the event by scanning a QR code. Their name, email address and phone number are collected. A professionally staffed check-in desk can also be provided.

PADDLES

We place preprinted paddles for each guest in a single envelope at each table. Any changes made at registration will be included so everyone can participate. Each paddle features a personalized QR code for easy payment. The back of each paddle may include a sponsor logo or other branding.

LIVE AUCTION

If the auctioneer is also taking bids on live auction lots, we will display the bids in real time and record the winner.

Easy Checkout

Donors scan the QR code on their paddle to fulfill their pledge. We also send a text message with a payment link to each registered donor. A professionally staffed checkout desk can also be provided.

LAST call by textgiving.com

At the end of your event, we invite every guest to contribute via text message. All registered guests who have not yet pledged are sent a text message with a link make their gift. It’s a great way to encourage additional support from donors at any level they choose.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS

All credit card payments are processed securely through Stripe and deposited directly in your bank account. Stripe charges 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction. There are no additional charges by ibidmobile.net.

FOLLOW UP

We provide detailed audited reports after your event and send reminders and invoices to donors.

What it COSTS

We charge a flat fee for our service based on the needs of your event. With ibidmobile.net, you never pay a commission.
