The paddle raise (also called a reverse auction or fund-a-need) is the most effective way to raise funds at a seated event. After making a call to action from the stage, the auctioneer will ask guests to raise their bidder cards to make pledges at specific levels. As the auctioneer thanks each donor, our technician records their pledge. Totals are displayed onscreen in realtime. At conclusion of the paddle raise, donors names can be scrolled.


We place preprinted bidder cards for each guest in a single envelope at each table. Any changes made at registration will be included so everyone can participate. The back of the bidder card can include a form to help collect donor and payment information or a sponsor logo or other branding.


Our staff helps the auctioneer see all of the bidders and also make note of pledges as a backup for our technician.

LAST call by

At the end of your event, guests can be invited to make an additional pledge from their phone. We will send a text message to every guest who registered a phone with a link to make a gift. It’s a great way to encourage additional support from donors at any level they choose.

Easy Checkout

Donor are invited to visit the checkout desk to pay by credit card or check. Our checkout staff will request postal and email addresses and a phone number for each donor.  Table-side and self checkout are also available.


We provide detailed audited reports after your event and will make a round of collection calls as directed.
